Linda Tubach is an assistant and doctoral student to the chair of Prof. Dr. Peter Finke at the University of Zurich since September 2012. She studied Cultural Anthropology and Sociology of non-Western societies (B.Sc. 2005, M.Sc. 2009) at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). For her Master thesis she did fieldwork in western Mongolia studying eagle hunting and its meaning within the local political and economic context among a minority group of Kazaks. After graduating she worked as junior lecturer at the University of Amsterdam and since fall 2012 she is teaching at the University of Zurich.
